Electrical Engineering

N1-N6
The N1 - N3 National Certificates in the Electrical Engineering programme cover heavy current fields such as electricity, domestic wiring and light current fields such as digital and industrial electronics. Once you have completed your entry level you can continue towards a specific electrical engineering qualification. The National N-Diploma in Electrical Engineering consist of a theoretical part (N4 - N6) and two years industry related experience. Each certificate is a qualification on its own but for a full qualification you must obtain all.

The purpose of this qualification is to provide learners, education and training providers and employers with the standards and the range of learning required to work effectively within various industries, making use of electrical engineering knowledge and skills to meet the challenges of such an environment.

Eligibility

N1 Entry Requirement: Grade 10 (Std 8) Certificate with a pass in Mathematics and Physical Science.N3 Entry Requirement: Grade 11 (Std 9) Certificate with a pass in Mathematics and Physical Science or N2.N4 Entry Requirement: Matric/Grade 12 (with full mathematics and science 40%+ Pass rate), or N3 Pass (with mathematics and science)NOTE: Proceed to next level only when the previous level has been successfully completed i.e. N4 for N5, etc.
